Futurama revival via Hulu reveals first teaser and premiere date

Hulu has finally confirmed a premiere date for their Futurama revival alongside the first teaser for the new episodes.

The new revival of the beloved sci-fi series is set to premiere exclusively on Hulu on July 24th. The 20 new episodes make up the show’s official eighth season, and new episodes will drop every Monday after

The entire cast are reprising their roles, including: Billy West as Fry, Katey Sagal as Leela, Tress MacNeille as Mom, Maurice LaMarche as Kif Kroker/Calculon/Lrr/Orson Welles/etc, Lauren Tom as Amy Wong, Phil LaMarr as Hermes Conrad, David Herman as Scruffy/Roberto/etc., and of course – John DiMaggio as Bender.

The original negotiations for the revival had Bender’s voice actor in limbo as the various companies reportedly debated over John DiMaggio’s pay – leading to DiMaggio officially joining the new revival a few weeks later.

Futurama was originally aired on Fox from 1999 to 2003. The show was loved by fans but was sadly cancelled after a few seasons, followed by a few direct-to-DVD movies (which got repurposed as a new season), and was later revived by Comedy Central in 2010 before it was cancelled again in 2013.
