“In addition to these Forza panels, we actually have been running weekly playtests within our Xbox Game studios and getting a lot of data and feedback on how the game’s progressing and how to really fine tune our details and get the racing right for everyone,” said creative director Chris Esaki in a video. “The new news is today we will soon be able to share to our people in our Forza panel, they will actually be able to get their hands on a part of our new Forza Motorsport game.”
According to Esaki, the studio is planning on continuing this type of testing in the months ahead, and try to get more and more of the community involved in the discussions.
Forza Motorsport, which will be the eigth release in the franchise, was announced last year. It will be coming to Xbox Series X|S, and as such will make use of all the new console’s features, including raytraced lighting. Forza Motorsport 8 doesn’t yet have a release date.
