Fortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 3 is dubbed Wrecked, and features Mad Max-like wastelands with car mods and war-torn characters. The island has also shifted so that the southern portion is filled with desert to reflect this.
The Greek mythology theme from last season isn’t fully gone, as Mount Olympus and The Underworld are still on the map. The southern part of the map has been consumed by wasteland desert, so you’ll be able to find new characters like Peabody and Brite Raider (outfits that are also included in this season’s battle pass) roaming around.
Below, we explain the map and loot pool changes for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3.
As mentioned above, the southern part of this map has been consumed by bright desert regions with areas where you can amp up your car. There are four new points of interest: the Nitrodome, Sandy Steppes, Brutal Beachhead, and Redline Rig.

These weapons have been unvaulted for the new season:
These are also new items added for Chapter 5 Season 3:
Some of the weapons in the above list will only drop from taking on the respective boss. For example, you’ll get the mythic Megalo Don’s Combat Shotgun for eliminating Megalo Don. These bosses do appear to drop medallions, too, just like last season.
In addition to the above, the specialty weapons dropped by bosses (like Ares’ Warforged Assault Rifle) have been vaulted, since those are no longer featured bosses. These versions of boss medallions have also been vaulted, though as mentioned above, there are new versions of boss medallions that fit with the season’s theme now.
