Hunting For Treasure

Sprint down the red-lit hallway to the wooden door next to another touchstone, like the one by the entrance. Take just a few steps in the next room, and you will be attacked by a group of two Abyssal Troodons. They emit poisonous mist you’ll want to be careful of, so you maintain a high stock of handy Healing Draughts.

Put points into the spell Leach if you haven’t already. Leach causes magical, poison-curing plants to form within you and cure the status ailment. To take out the Abyssal Troodons, it’s recommended you use Bind to hold them in place from continuing to poison you. Poison can be a deadly deterrent in Forspoken if ignored. Then, use some more support magic with the spell Disperse. This way, you can have your “turret” deal out damage as you fire rounds and use Tendril to heal yourself.

There is a Healing Draught directly to your right by the doorway you came through. There’s another health potion for you in front of the door to your left.

Head through the door towards your right. There is a material of Diurnite to the left of you right before you reach the puzzle locked chest. The difficulty level of the puzzle is hard, so if you’re having trouble, don’t be afraid to use the reset button to start fresh.

Follow The Mana Pillars

After you’ve received your reward of Old Coin, go back where you came from and enter the door on the opposite side of the room. There will be a touchstone (to return to the entrance) in a room connecting you to the next door you’ll enter.

This room has two Abyssal Troodons on the ground and three Abyssal Varanus waiting to drop from the ceiling when you center. Again, you’ll want to immobilize the Troodons with Bind and make use of Tendril to heal yourself in order to save up your Healing Draughts.

The Abyssal Varanus enemies have swift movement, but you can dispatch them after dealing with the poisonous Troodons.

Straight ahead from the door you entered are materials for Lambent Bloom and Lambent Cluster. The end of the wall on the opposite end also has a Healing Draught. You can find another Healing Draught next to the door on the right.

Go through this door on the right. The right-hand side of the passageway has the material Noctite. Keep going down this hall, and you’ll find pillars of mana to upgrade your magic. The highest rock at the end of the hall will have the material Wild Musk to pick up. Below it, you will find four more pillars of mana.

Return to the room before and enter the door opposite to you. The room after the passageway will feature another touchstone and some firewood to set up camp in your travels. The next door you enter will start the boss fight with the Lesser Apsaravis after a short introduction scene.

Boss Fight: Lesser Apsaravis

Forspoken's Lesser Apsaravis Flying Boss hovers above Frey

The winged creature’s pattern will have it sweep down near you to unleash a whirlwind-like gust attack on the ground in front of it. It can also do a flip attack, unleashing some more wind in front of it. One of its strongest options is to spiral upwards before spinning down and sending electrocuted winds on the ground towards you, which can hit you from pretty far away. You’ll want to dodge and sprint to the side. After this electric attack, you will have a chance to hit the boss closer to the ground, especially with your Genesis ultimate.

Lesser Apsaravis will also twist and spin in midair, in order to send a bunch of blue colored projectiles in a bunch of directions. You can dodge these by keeping your distance.

Do steady attacks with the Scatter Shot projectile’s better range, and then increase your damage with switching to Burst Shot, in between Lesser Apsaravis’ moves, when it’s closer to you. The spell Disperse is essential or highly recommended. You can use Disperse on top of the rocky platforms you use to try and reach the boss, so they can have better range when Lesser Apsaravis closes in on you. Use your parkour down and around the platforms to stay near your casting of Disperse for the useful automated damage that doesn’t require you manually aiming.

Healing Draughts In The Room

If you need to restock on healing items, go from the door you entered and hug the left side of the wall until you reach two pillars that look like the ones at the entrance. There will be a Healing Draught on the far left one. Keep hugging the wall and there will be another Healing Draught right by the wall and about just before you get to the other two stone pillars. Continue in this direction and the following two stone pillars will have a Healing Draught right under the pillar on the far side.
