Hinamatsuri isn’t until March 3, 2024, but Square Enix already kicked off the corresponding Final Fantasy XI The Doll Festival event in-game. The returning activity is live now and brings back the furnishing and item rewards.
As in real-life, there will be doll displays in-game for the event. People who go to certain spots will see the new decorations. They’ll be able to take in the scenery and visit with a Moogle.
Here are the six spots you can go to in order to check in with The Doll Festival Moogles. Note that only three of the spots will also have dolls on display.
As for what you can get, it’s random. So you’ll need to keep checking in with the Moogles every day. The Festival Dolls furnishing is a recreation of the Hinamatsuri dolls for players’ places. You can also get Bonbori lantern furnishings. As for the items, there are four kinds of Rice Cakes. The varieties are Hume, Elvaan, Mithran, and Tarutaru.
As a reminder, the other February 2024 update for the game already arrived. It added to both the Ambuscade and Master Trials.
Final Fantasy XI is available for the PC, and The Doll Festival event will run in-game until March 17, 2024.
