Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Unlock Times Revealed, Preloading Live Now

Only hours–not days–remain until the launch of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the continuation of Cloud and company’s journey that started in 2020’s Final Fantasy VII Remake. The Square Enix RPG is set to unlock at 9 PM PT on February 28 and 12 AM ET on February 29 in the US on PSN. In other regions of the world, the game should become available digitally at midnight locally February 29.

In addition, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth can be preloaded right now so PS5 players are ready to wield the Buster Sword right at midnight. Remember, the RPG is exclusive to Sony’s system currently.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Release Times

  • 9 PM PT on February 28 / 12 AM ET on February 29 – US
  • 12 AM on February 29 – Locally for other regions

GameSpot also has a Final Fantasy VII Rebirth preorder guide for people looking at physical copies of the game. There is a Digital Deluxe Edition, too, which offers a digital mini-soundtrack, digital artbook, and in-game bonuses.
