If you haven’t given Far Cry 6 a try by this point, there’s good news: it’s a freebie for the next few days.
On Thursday, Ubisoft announced that Far Cry 6 is free from Aug. 4 through Aug. 7, 2022, on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the Ubisoft Store and the Epic Games Store. There are also significant discounts for the game across all available storefronts. We’ll list the details below.

There are roughly three days to take advantage of this deal, so get on that fast. The season pass and other more expansive editions are also discounted if either sounds appealing.
When Far Cry 6 came out last fall, GLHF’s Paolo Sirio thought it was fine.
“There’s fun to be had in Far Cry 6, thanks to its squelchy, comfortable gunplay and a number of small innovations to freshen a long-standing formula up a little,” Sirio said. “But it’s not quite enough to make it stand out from any other game released this year.”
It’s probably not something that will light your world on fire, but it could be a fun co-op adventure with friends for relatively cheap.
