Fans try to identify VTubers

Much like Fortnite and Fall Guys before it, Among Us realized that their little bean characters are ripe for crossover exploitation. Ratchet & Clank and Scream are among some of the franchises that have previously collaborated with the game, and now it seems like Hololive is going to be added to that list.

For those who don’t know, Hololive is an organization that manages VTubers – a term used to describe those who stream using a virtual avatar, rather than their real face. They are primarily a Japanese organization, but have found success in other languages such as English and Indonesian over the past couple of years.

This event seemingly teases ten skins in silhouette, but fans seem to have worked out which VTuber each skin is based on. We’ll run you through the full list so you know if your favorite idol will be in the game.

The Hololive members who might come to Among Us

Based on the silhouettes in the teaser image, fans have guessed that the following ten VTubers are the most likely to be in the event (from left to right in the teaser image):

Moona Hoshinova: Hololive Indonesia Gen 1. A college student who works as a model and idol.

Ookami Mio: Hololive Japan Gamers. A black-haired wolf girl.

Inugami Korone: Hololive Japan Gamers. A dog from a bakery in the city.

Shirakami Fubuki: Hololive Japan Gen 1/Gamers. White-haired animal-eared otaku fox.

Amelia Watson: Hololive English Gen 1. A detective investigating Hololive.

Houshou Marine: Hololive Japan Gen 3. Captain of the Houshou Pirates.

Gawr Gura: Hololive English Gen 1. A descendant of the Lost City of Atlantis.

Ayunda Risu: Hololive Indonesia Gen 1. A squirrel girl from a magical forest.

Usada Pekora: Hololive Japan Gen 3: A lonely rabbit-eared girl who loves carrots.
Nekomata Okayu: Hololive Japan Gamers. A cat being raised by an old woman that runs an onigiri store.

These aren’t definite answers just yet though, and there is still some disagreement among fans. The main two being debated are Moona and Risu, which some fans claim could be Robocosan and Sakura Miko respectively. It remains to be seen, and the start date of the event is yet to be revealed, so watch this space for any potential updates.
