You might have come across an Amulet while playing Evil Dead: The Game. But what does it do, and how do you use it?
Amulets are very useful in Evil Dead: The Game, and you should be sure to pick one up any time you see one. You see, these magical trinkets can refill your shield bar, offering you extra protection against enemies. In a world filled with Deadites, is there anything more helpful than that?
You’ll find Amulets dotted around the world, and you can have more than one at a time. It won’t get used automatically, however. If you look at the bottom-right of your HUD, you’ll see a small ‘shield’ icon. This is lit up if you have an Amulet available.

To use an Amulet in Evil Dead: The Game, simply press ‘right’ on the d-pad. However: think carefully about when to use one. Don’t waste it; it pays to keep hold of an amulet until you really need it. That boost to your shield can help you get out of a very sticky situation. You see, when your shield is active, damage will first take away from that rather than your health.
So: pick up any Amulets you find in Evil Dead: The Game, and be strategic with their use. Don’t waste them on a random enemy – save them for when you’re truly overwhelmed, or need a quick survival boost.
