This weapon has been featured in Weapon Banners in the past and is being featured in the 3.3 Banner with Raiden Shogun and Kamisato Ayato. If you are looking to pull for this weapon, here is what you should keep in mind.
What Is Engulfing Lightning
Engulfing Lightning is a 5-Star Polearm weapon that can be obtained in limited-time Weapon Banners. This weapon will give a base increase of 12 percent to Energy Recharge, and its bonus skill will increase ATK by 28 percent of Energy Recharge over the base 100 percent. You will be able to gain a maximum bonus of 80 percent ATK. It will also gain 30 percent Energy Recharge for 23 seconds after using an Elemental Burst.
Due to its Energy Recharge stats, this weapon is ideal for Sub-DPS and Support users that focus on damage from their Elemental Burst. This weapon will greatly increase the usability of their Elemental Burst while allowing the user to deal a significant amount of damage to aid the Main DPS of the team.
How To Get & Ascend Engulfing Lightning
To get this weapon, you will need to pull for it on a limited-time Banner. The current 3.3 Banner, featuring Raiden Shogun and Kamisato Ayato, offers the Engulfing Lightning on the Weapons Banner.
When you go to the Weapons Banner, make sure to choose the correct Epitomized Path. Choose Engulfing Lightning here rather than Haran Geppaku Futsu or whatever other featured weapon there is. When you begin pulling on this Banner, you will be more likely to receive the Engulfing Lightning due to choosing it as your Epitomized Path.
For Weapons Banners, in order to get soft pity where you are guaranteed to get a 5-Star Weapon, you will have to wish 80 times. This is less than Character Banners, which require 90 wishes. If you do not receive your desired 5-Star weapon on this Banner (Engulfing Lightning), the next time you receive a 5-Star weapon will be guaranteed to be the one you want.
