Escape From Tarkov’s Seaside Vacation quest can prove rewarding for players willing to complete it. Here’s how you can get it done.
A demilitarized zone in Europe is a breeding ground for unrest, and Escape From Tarkov takes full advantage of this concept. With factions and individuals looking to profit off of the chaos, the Therapist is a reliable source of good-paying work in this violent world.
A recurring task from the Therapist and other private parties like her is the retrieval of sensitive documents and assets. If the player is okay with being a gun-toting errand boy for ethically questionable doctors, they can be rewarded well for their work.
Seaside Vacation
The Seaside Vacation quest becomes available to players upon reaching level 17, and is given out by the Therapist, who will task players to retrieve a Laptop With Information that she wants to be delivered to her. By level 17, players are likely well familiar with this quest format and may have already done work with the Therapist in the past, which makes this quest a familiar series of events for many. The laptop itself is located on the Lighthouse map.
The Lighthouse map is wide-open and spacious, prime real estate for ambushes and snipers, both NPC and other players. Players should come prepared for this as a result, as Tarkov is far more focused on immersion and long-term player consequences for dying compared to its contemporaries like Rainbow Six or Call of Duty. When players enter the Lighthouse map, they’ll want to head south towards the pitchfork-shaped docks down by the shoreline. The specific house will be on the right, the one that is closer to the actual lighthouse. The exterior of the house has two green kayaks mounted on the wall, with an umbrella and chairs set up to the side of the building.
Once inside, players will find the laptop in the bedroom next to one of the main doors to the building. It will be located partially tucked underneath the bed and has a textured, protective case on it. With the laptop acquired, players now will only need to extract from the map alive, so additional caution will be needed to escape in one piece. Both on the way towards the laptop and the way back, as with any session of Tarkov, players should be on the lookout for additional loot and valuables to maximize the usage of their time in the open world and sweeten the payday they are working towards.
Another Satisfied Customer
Upon successfully evacuating the area with the laptop in their inventory, the quest will be complete. Players will be handsomely rewarded for further aiding the efforts of the Therapist and her agenda within the Tarkov region. Different players will receive varying levels of payout in Roubles (one of the in-game currencies) based on their Intelligence Center’s level. Higher-level Intelligence Centers will reward players with more Roubles and currencies upon completing quests. For completing Seaside Vacation, players will receive:
- 8,000 EXP
- +0.02 Therapist Reputation
- 50,000 – 57,500 Roubles (Intelligence Center Level 0 – Level 2)
- Unlocks ability to purchase the Aluminum Splint from the Therapist at LL3
