Emmerdale double exit ‘sealed’ as viewers fear for Belle Dingle’s health | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

During the latest Emmerdale episode, Belle Dingle (played by Eden Taylor-Draper) decided to be open with her partner Tom King (James Chase) about accidentally killing Gemma Andrews (Tendai Rinomhota) in the past.

However, he struggled to take in the information and had to leave the conversation altogether which left her heartbroken.

She started worrying telling Tom the truth had ruined everything they have, despite hoping he would understand.

Later on, Tom clashed with Jimmy King (Nick Miles) in The Woolpack after the latter defended the infamous Carl King (Tom Lister).

Tom fumed at his uncle: “My mum hates [Carl] and every time I did something wrong she said I was taking after him.

“Just admit that your brother was a murderer and a rapist and we should all be glad he’s dead.”

Later on, Belle met up with Tom outside and he’d decided he did not want to move back to Leeds as he wanted to stay in Emmerdale for her.

He told Belle that Gemma’s death was “nothing like what Carl did”, but she felt she was being judged.

Belle then decided to break up with Tom, telling him: “I thought we would be good together… I don’t want to apologise for the person I am or turn myself into a girl I think you’d be happier with.

“I think it is best for both of us if we just finish now,” she concluded before walking off.

Emmerdale viewers took to Twitter to comment on the breakdown of Belle and Tom’s relationship, with some fearing they would be leaving the soap.

A user called Zombie shared: “I have a feeling Belle might end up having another breakdown after all this.”

@Ockeghem1497 said: “Think Belle might be having one of her ‘episodes’ again.”

Eli added: “Belle’s so haunted, she’s not bothered to mention Gemma since she came out of prison #emmerdale.”

Lynn commented: “Yes Tom go and disappear in Leeds #emmerdale.”

Owen remarked: “We’ll be glad to see the back of you too Tom! Absolutely no point in him coming back. #Emmerdale.”

Carol penned: “Tom darling if you want to get away from anyone in that village that’s either killed someone, almost killed someone or tried to kill someone you’d better get going #emmerdale.”

Emmerdale continues on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
