Elden Ring: Celestial Dew Location Guide

Elden Ring allows you to kill almost any friendly NPC in the game, but there are consequences for doing so. Even merely attacking a friendly NPC can cause players to lose quest progression or access to important items. Luckily, Elden Ring gives players a way to atone for their transgressions using a consumable item known as Celestial Dew.

Celestial Dew is a rare item that can be used at the Church of Vows to attain Absolution from one’s sins. There are a couple of misconceptions regarding Celestial Dew, so it’s worth noting right off the bat that the item can’t help revive dead NPCs. Rather, gaining Absolution simply means that NPCs will forget you ever attacked them and will go back to being friendly. There are 10 flasks of Celestial Dew scattered throughout Elden Ring and their locations can be found down below.

Liurnia Of The Lakes Celestial Dew

There are two flasks for Celestial Dew that can be acquired fairly early on in the game in Liurnia of the Lakes. The first one can be looted from a corpse on the inner side of Raya Lucaria’s southern gate. Since the southern gate is closed, you’ll need to make your way to the main gate in the north and travel south from there. To bypass the magic barrier, you’ll need to get the Glinstone Key guarded by Glintstone Dragon Smarag next to one of the small islands west of the academy.

Celestial Dew Caria Manor location

The other flask of Celestial Dew can be purchased from a merchant called Pidia inside Caria Manor. Caria Manor is located in the north of Luirnia of the Lakes close to the Three Sisters sub-region. The only problem is that you can’t reach the merchant from within the manor. Instead, you’ll need to clear the place and leave the area. Once outside, take a left and follow the wall until you reach the cliffs. Look to your right to see the roof of an old tower. Make your way there and then use the scaffolding to descend to another stone roof with an opening. Go down the ladder and you’ll run into Pidia who sells a flask of Celestial Dew for 5,000 runes.

Ainsel River Celestial Dew

Celestial Dew Ainsel River location

The next two flasks of Celestial Dew can be found underground in the Ainsel River area. This underground area can be accessed via the Ainsel River Well in eastern Liurnia of the Lakes. Once you’ve made it down there, proceed through the left tunnel until you reach a cavern filled with coffins and mounds of bones. Take the left tunnel again and keep going until you reach the ruins. As you exit the tunnel you’ll see a corpse hanging off a column in front of you. Walk towards it and you’ll spot another corpse down below hanging off a ledge. Loot this second corpse for the first flask of Celestial Dew.

Celestial Dew Hermit Merchant location

Make your way through the large building to reach a bigger open area with even more ruins. You’ll be attacked by a monster perched on top of the temple as soon as you enter the area. Do your best to dodge its projectiles as you make your way toward the temple. Once you’ve made it inside, speak to the Hermit Merchant and he’ll sell you a flask of Celestial Dew for 7,500 runes.

Nokstella, Eternal City Celestial Dew

Celestial Dew Nokstella, Eternal City location

Another two flasks of Celestial Dew can be found in Nokstella, Eternal City, an area that’s also part of the larger Ainsel River region. This area can be accessed via the waygate found at the top of Renna’s Rise once you’ve progressed enough through Ranni’s questline. Alternatively, you can get there by using the coffin in Deeproot Depths. Regardless of how you got there, from the Ainsel River Man Site of Grace, make your way south past the ruins and follow the river until you reach Nokstella, Eternal City. Once you’ve reached the Site of Grace, turn right and cross the river. Keep going until you see a trio of snails surrounding a corpse. Loot the corpse for a flask of Celestial Dew.

Celestial Dew Nokstella, Eternal City second location

Go back to the river and follow it downstream while taking care not to get killed by the myriad of enemies skulking around. After passing beneath the bridge you’ll see a tall building to your left. There’s a lift inside but don’t go in just yet. Go past the building to find a smaller structure filled to the brim with slimes. Kill the slimes to reveal the corpse of an unfortunate adventurer. You’ll find another flask of Celestial Dew upon looting the corpse.

Nokron, Eternal City Celestial Dew

Celestial Dew Nokron, Eternal City location

Nokron, Eternal City is another underground location that can only be accessed after defeating Starscourge Radahn and descending into the crater. There are no less than three flasks of Celestial Dew here. The first portion of the area is pretty linear so proceed until you encounter the Mimic Tear, and then keep going until you reach the Ancestral Woods. West of the bridge you’ll find the Ancestral Woods Site of Grace so go ahead and activate it if you haven’t already and then return to the bridge. Instead of getting back on the bridge, go under it and descend carefully into the ruined structure to the north. You’ll find some Celestial Dew on one of the two corpses inside the ruin.

Celestial Dew Ancestral Woods location

With that out of the way, head back to the Ancestral Woods Site of Grace. From the Site of Grace, follow the rooftops until you reach an area where you’re going to be attacked by two Silver Tears. Dispatch them from a distance if you can, but don’t go toward them just yet. Instead, head up the stairs and jump on the nearby ledge. Turn right and go around the building to find a corpse holding a flask of Celestial Dew.

Celestial Dew Night's Sacred Ground location

Head back and make your way to the rooftop where you encountered those Silver Tears earlier. The next portion is pretty linear so continue to follow the rooftops until you reach a cathedral. Dispatch the enemies from above if you can and take the ladder to the bottom level. Upon exiting the cathedral you’ll find yourself in a place called Night’s Sacred Ground. To your left, you’ll spot a bunch of slimes along with several corpses, one of which holds the third flask of Celestial Dew.

Erdtree Sancturay Celestial Dew

Celestial Dew location Erdtree Sanctuary

The last flask of Celestial Dew can be found in the Erdtree Sancturay. Needless to say, you won’t be able to obtain this one until late into the game. From the Erdtree Sancturay Site of Grace, look to the east to find a thick branch you can use to reach the upper level. Go through the building and turn left once you’re outside. Jump on the nearby roof and look for an opening that will take you back inside the building. Head through the doorway on the other side of the room to find a corpse hanging off a ledge. Loot it to find the 10th and final flask of Celestial Dew.
