Dragon’s Dogma 2 Showcases the Sorcerer Vocation

Capcom dives into the Sorcerer class in new trailer for Dragon’s Dogma 2 showing off attacks, spells, and more. If you want to learn more about the Sorcerer Class, you can check out the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Wiki, or you can watch the video below.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Showcases the Sorcerer Vocation in New Trailer

Capcom has recently been revealing the different vocations for its highly anticipated sequel, Dragon’s Dogma 2. In the latest trailer, it’s the Sorcerer’s turn, where four types of mages can be appreciated: Fire, Lightning, Earth, and Ice.

The four elements shown in the video have a uniqueness in the large staff. As depicted in the trailer, each element has its own style of staff, making it visually interesting. The choice will depend on the player’s gameplay style and which one fits best, considering casting times, damage, and attack ranges.

The Sorcerer is a vocation completely specialized in heavy casting. Their magick is conjured with both hands through a large staff and can change the tide of battle at any given opportunity. Since their magick spells take longer to cast, the key for a good Sorcerer is to find an opening and determine the correct moment to cast their spells.

A Demo on the Way?

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is less than a month away from its release, and some rumors indicate that a playable Demo seems likely in the not-so-distant future. The most recent example from Capcom, Resident Evil 4, also had a demo released a few weeks before the main launch. Therefore, it’s expected that they will follow this trend with this highly anticipated sequel. While it’s not a big surprise that Dragon’s Dogma 2 could have a demo, it’s exciting that we might have the opportunity to try the game sooner than we think.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be coming to PC, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on March 22nd, 2024. Be sure to drop by our wiki as we will be filling it up with all the latest on vocations, weapons, builds, and more.
