Dragon’s Dogma 2 Showcases the Fighter Vocation in New Trailer

Capcom dives into the Fighter class in new trailer for Dragon’s Dogma 2 showing off attacks, and more.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Showcases the Fighter Vocation in New Trailer

Capcom has recently been introducing different Vocations for their upcoming sequel Dragon’s Dogma 2. The most recent showcase is for the Fighter. In the new trailer we see the returning Vocation attacking, parrying and even taunting nearby foes.

The Fighter is equipped with a shield that can shield bash enemies and then launch into some visceral hack and slashing with their sword. In order to protect nearby allies, the Fighter will hit his shield to draw away enemies by taunting them.

More impressively is the Vocation taking on a towering beast head-on, making powerful lunges at its legs. But swords aren’t his only weapon of choice. Also shown is the mighty warrior going at it with a sickle which quickly swipes at bludgeoning goblins.

The Fighter uses swords, shields and even sickles to fight whatever is in their path.

Previously Dragon’s Dogma 2 got a deep dive during Playstation’s State of Play last month which featured the new Vocation Warfarer. Unlike the Fighter, the Warfarer is an Arisen exclusive, meaning you won’t be able to recruit one in your party. Also revealed were the Vocation Maisters, teachers of their respective vocations. They can lend knowledge using Maister’s Teaching, such as new Skills. There were also details about the deadly Dragonsplague which makes Pawns act much bolder in nature but is hinted to “result devasting calamity”. If the glowing red eyes weren’t a tip-off that something was not quite right then I don’t know what is.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be coming to platform PC, Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on March 22nd 2024. Be sure to drop by our wiki as we will be filling it up with all the latest on Vocations, Weapons, Builds and more. Don’t miss out on pre-order bonuses such as the Superior Weapons Quartet which adds some great weapons to your arsenal.
