Does LEGO Fortnite give XP?

Since LEGO Fortnite is directly tied to Fortnite, do we get Fortnite Battle Pass XP through LEGO Fortnite? Find out in this article.

Does LEGO Fortnite reward Fortnite Battle Pass XP?

Unfortunately, currently, there’s no way to earn Fortnite Battle Pass XP through LEGO Fortnite. If that were the case, people would likely complete their entire Fortnite Battle Pass through LEGO Fortnite since it’s an easier experience than Fortnite’s Battle Royale.

The sad truth about LEGO Fortnite is there aren’t any quests to complete or story beats to follow at all. I thought the experience would be loosely tied together with some amount of quests that ultimately lead you to a final boss, but that doesn’t exist here.

Instead, you have Cuddle Team Leader, who gives you a tutorial on how to play the game. Thankfully, LEGO Fortnite is very user-friendly, and learning the ropes doesn’t take long. Like most survival crafting games, the progression in LEGO Fortnite is self-motivated. As you play, you’ll naturally want to unlock the next thing and get more and more resources for your next build.

I think the reason Epic Games didn’t put XP in LEGO Fortnite is they still want people to play Fortnite. Though we now have LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival, Epic Games makes money through their Item Shop and Battle Pass, which is closely tied to Fortnite.

Fortnite skins will be tied to LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival, but the main draw for getting cooler skins is still attached most closely to Fortnite. That may change in the future, but that’s why I think there’s no XP to be had in LEGO Fortnite.

Who knows? In the future, if Epic Games still makes the same amount of money from the Item Shop, they may tie the same Battle Pass or a new Battle Pass to LEGO Fortnite. The sky really is the limit here, but for now, there’s no XP in LEGO Fortnite.
