Destiny 2 Season Of The Seraph: All Week 9 Challenges

Quick Links

Destiny 2’s Season of the Seraph’s weekly seasonal challenges are finally winding down. With this being the final week of seasonal challenges for the Season of the Seraph, this set of challenges offers the final set of tasks in the lull before the release of the final steps of the seasonal storyline in the two weeks leading into the upcoming Lightfall expansion.

Though some of these challenges are fairly simple to complete, others will require the concerted effort to complete before the end of the season.

Legend Heist Battlegrounds II

Complete each Heist Battleground on Legend difficulty.

  • Legend Heist Battleground: Europa
  • Legend Heist Battleground: Moon
  • Legend Heist Battleground: Mars

Rewards: Seraphic Umbral Energy +8, Challenger XP++

This challenge can be particularly difficult for the solo Guardian, as the Legend Heist Battleground activities do not have matchmaking, requiring Guardians to group up ahead of entering the activity. Don’t let that stop you, though, as the Seraphic Umbral Energy +2 and Challenger XP++, in addition to the pride in completing these tough challenges, are more than worth it.

Pinnacle

Reach Power Level 1590 by earning pinnacle rewards.

Rewards: Challenger XP+++, Bright Dust

In order to gain Pinnacle rewards, you’ll need to seek out specific activities. Pinnacle rewards can drop from endgame content like Raids and Dungeons, weekly vendor activities, Nightfall strikes, and certain weekly missions. It takes a concerted effort, but with focus and determination, you’ll reach 1590 in no time.

Icy Singularity

Defeat targets with Void or Stasis effects. Bonus progress for defeating invading Guardians.

Rewards: Challenger XP++, Bright Dust

This is one of the easier challenges this week, requiring only that you defeat targets with Void or Stasis effects. This is activity-agnostic, allowing you to gain progress in whichever activity you choose. You will, however, gain bonus progress for defeating invading Guardians in Gambit. So, if you’ve been hoarding your Gambit challenges until the end of the season, now’s a perfect time to help Drifter out.

Heavy Loadout

Defeat targets with Machine Guns. Bonus progress for defeating Guardians.

Defeat powerful combatants in Heist Battlegrounds.

  • Machine Gun final blows 0%
  • Challenging combatants 0/35

Rewards: Challenger XP+

This challenge is a two-parter. The first aspect, defeating targets with Machine Guns, can be completed in any activity. The second aspect, defeating powerful combatants in Heist Battlegrounds, must of course be completed in that activity. Your reward is only Challenger XP+, so unless you’re desperate for that extra xp or aiming to complete all seasonal challenges, this one is low priority.

Armory-Wide Calibration

Calibrate Kinetic, Energy, and Power weapons. Bonus progress against Champions.

  • Kinetic weapon 0%
  • Energy weapon 0%
  • Power weapon 0%

Rewards: Challenger XP+++, Bright Dust

Another straightforward challenge, to complete Armory-Wide Calibration, you’ll just need to defeat enemies with Kinetic, Energy, and Power weapons. Bonus progress against Champions, but even regular enemies will contribute toward challenge completion. It’s well worth the effort due to the Bright Dust reward and the Challenger XP+++.

Cosmic Chill

Defeat combatants with Void or Stasis effects in Vanguard playlists.

Rewards: Challenger XP++, Bright Dust

The final challenge of the season is relatively chill. Simply defeat combatants with Void or Stasis effects in Vanguard playlists. Zevala needs your help, Guardian! Equip your Void or Stasis gear, and head out to defend the solar system.
