Destiny 2 Season Of The Seraph: All Week 6 Challenges
Season of the Seraph, Destiny 2’s 19th season, has entered week 6. With it, another set of seasonal weekly challenges have been added for Guardians to complete. While some of these challenges can still be completely fairly quickly, others might take the rest of the season to accomplish.
For a full breakdown of week 6’s challenges, along with how to complete them, you’ve come to the right place. The season is rapidly approaching the halfway point, so start working toward some of those longer-term seasonal challenges if you haven’t already.
More Than A Weapon VI
Complete Week 6 of “More Than a Weapon.”
Defeat powerful Hive and Fallen combatants anywhere in the system. Bonus progress for defeating them in Heist Battlegrounds and the Exotic mission “Operation: Seraph’s Shield.”
- More Than a Weapon: Week 6 completed
- Challenging combatants 0/100
Rewards: Exo Frame Module, Challenger XP++
Week 6 continues the “More Than a Weapon” season-long questline revolving around the Warmind Rasputin, Ana and Clovis Bray, and the Witness’ dastardly plans for the Warmind network. Visit the Exo Frame in the eastern wing of the H.E.L.M. in order to continue this season quest with the next set of mission steps available to you.
Seraph’s Secrets
Open hidden chests in the Exotic mission “Operation: Seraph’s Shield.”
Rewards: Challenger XP+
While this challenge only rewards Guardians with Challenger XP+, it’s worth doing simply for the mission itself. Operation: Seraph’s Shield is a phenomenal mission, offering spectacular views and some complicated puzzles for Guardians to figure out. While on this mission, you’ll need to seek out and open two hidden chests, both of which can be pretty difficult to discover. You’ll have to comb every inch of the mission area in order to discover them, and even then, you’ll need one of the Exo Frame’s upgrades in order to bypass traps.
Apex Armorer
Masterwork a piece of armor.
Rewards: Challenger XP+, Bright Dust
A fairly straightforward challenge, this asks that you simply masterwork a piece of armor. Any armor piece will do! The act itself will cost quite a few resources, increasing the amount required (and rarity of items required) as you close in on masterworking the armor, but doing so will dramatically enhance the armor itself. The final enhancement level will require an Ascendant Shard (among a few other resources), which can only be acquired from a few sources. Luckily, each season will reward some of this rare item for players.
Crucible Ornament
Acquire the Crucible ornament for Veles-X.
Rewards: Challenger XP+++, Bright Dust
While this challenge might be straightforward, it’s anything but quick. In order to acquire the Crucible ornament for the Veles-X, you will first need to reach Crucible rank 17 — acquiring the Veles-X as the rank 16 reward — reset your Crucible rank, and then you will need to reach rank 16 again in the Crucible track in order to obtain this weapon ornament.
Heist Battlegrounds V
In the Heist Battlegrounds playlist or Legend Heist Battlegrounds, open Seraph Chests and defeat Deathtongue Choristers before they can channel Xivu Arath’s battlesong.
- Seraph Chests x/30
- Deathtongue Choristers x/5
Rewards: Exo Frame Module, Challenger XP++
This challenge is retroactive, thankfully, but it still might take you quite some time to complete. Seraph chests you will open at the end of each Heist Battleground, which can be a fairly steady, if tedious, number of chests to open. The Deathtongue Choristers, however, can be quite a pain. You’ll want to focus on them as soon as you find them, but even that might not be enough as it will require the focused effort of your fire team, which can sometimes be too much to ask when randomly grouping with strangers.
Your best bet is to enter this activity with a pre-made group, prepared to take on these Deathtongue Choristers as soon as they spawn. With coordinated effort, this challenge step can be finished in no time.
CQC Loadout
Defeat targets with Glaives. Bonus progress for defeating Guardians.
Defeat combatants in Heist Battlegrounds with melee final blows
- Glaive final blows 0%
- Melee 0/50
Rewards: Challenger XP+
It’s time to bust out the newest weapon type, introduced in the Witch Queen campaign, and slay some enemies with your favorite Glaive. Guardians count extra, so you might as well bring it into your next Crucible match. In addition, you’ll simply need to rack up 50 melee final blows in the Heist Battleground activity; a simple task for one so deadly as a Guardian.
Absolutely Stunning
Stun Champions.
Rewards: Challenger XP+++, Bright Dust
This activity should be fairly simple. You’ll want to head into activities with Champions present; either the Nightfall Strikes at a difficulty where Champions are present, or in Heist Battlegrounds, where you’ll also encounter a few Champions along the way. You’ll need to have equipped the appropriate seasonal mods to stun said champions, as well as the appropriate weapons to fit the mods in question, but with some minimal planning and focused effort, you’ll finish this challenge in no time.
