Destiny 2 Announces Festival Of The Lost Armor Themes Along With Class-Based Voting

Each class will now have its own voting process in Festival of the Lost.

In the latest ‘This Week At Bungie‘ post, the studio revealed all of the upcoming armor theme designs for this year’s Festival Of The Lost event in Destiny 2. Unlike previous years when Bungie would bring two different design languages, this year the event will bring a single design with two different variants.

This year’s design is called Creepy Crawly, but it comes in two interpretations – the spooky spider style and the bone-chilling beetle body. Hopefully, the variants are distinct enough to make it a real competition, but the voting process has changed a bit.

This year, each class will have its own voting, which means players will choose the variant for each class separately. So, yes, it is possible to see a spider Hunter along with a beetle Warlock and Titan becoming the final choices. This will surely prevent sacrifices and will help you choose the best design, especially if you play more than a single class in Destiny 2.

When it comes to casting votes, you will receive an email from Bungie to vote for your main class if you have already signed up for the studio’s newsletter. But if you haven’t, there is no need to worry as Bungie is also preparing an alternative way to vote. So, this year you will also receive a direct link to vote for your alternative class in the game or your primary class in case you don’t get the aforementioned email from Bungie.

Destiny 2 players are getting ready for the arrival of Lightfall as we are almost a month away from its launch. That being said, we are not done yet with Season of the Seraph as a season finale event is expected to go live on February 14, which is said to feature a new quest. Also, if you haven’t been able to play the game much this season, you still have time to grind for the items and Battle Pass rewards. You will also receive a Season Pass boost for the catalysts of the weapons from previous years.

As a finale to Destiny 2’s current storyline, Lightfall will take players to Neomuna, where they eventually meet The Witness.
