Dead By Daylight’s New Chapter Root Of Dread Adds Original Characters and New Map
After bringing a series of exciting new characters via various collaborations, Behavior Interactive is gearing up to launch original characters in Dead By Daylight. When it comes to the Killer, we have The Dredge as the latest character joining the game. It is defined as a “formless mass of twisted limbs writhing in the shadows”, who is nothing less than a manifestation of darkness itself. When it comes to the powers of The Dredge, it can teleport between Lockers to catch unsuspecting Survivors.
As far as the Survivor is concerned, we have an Indian survivor named Haddie Kaur making their way into the game. She has a history of fighting monsters and will now be venturing into the Entity Realm to take on Killers. There is also a new map coming into the game, known as Garden of Joy.
There is a new Resident Evil collaboration coming up as well, known as Project W, which will be adding two more “powerhouses” alongside the likes of Nemesis, Jill Valentine, and Leon S. Kennedy. There is a dating sim coming for Dead by Daylight as well, which is something no one would have expected. Players will get a chance to flirt with characters such as The Huntress, The Spirit, The Trapper, and The Wraith while uncovering their secrets.
Speaking about the dating sim, Mathieu Côté, Head of Partnerships for Dead by Daylight adds “You wanted it? You got it! Hooked on You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Sim mixes horror, humor, and romance to create a fresh way for fans to interact and create an emotional bond with their favorite Killers. Our goal with our first visual novel is to provide fans with a completely unique and surprising new way to experience the world of Dead by Daylight.”
