David Harbour and Jodie Comer are set to star in a mysterious new horror game, which is expected to release sometime next year. In an interview with FanNation, the Stranger Things actor David Harbour confirmed that he and Jodie Comer, the award-winning actress best known for her role in Killing Eve and The Last Duel, will be included in a new horror game.

When asked if he would be interested in starring in a video game, David said: “I actually have one coming out. Me and Jodie Comer did a video game. That’ll be coming out… I think it’s next year. A horror game.” Although details on the yet-to-be-announced horror game are scarce, it will be released next year and will not be an adaptation project. Harbour is also currently working on a Grand Turismo movie directed by Neill Blomkamp, which will premiere on August 11, 2023.

David also discussed his obsession with World of Warcraft, claiming how fascinating the game is in so many ways. “You test out economy, you test out democracy. How do you divvy resources of like two pieces of boss raid loot among 40 players for one night of raiding? How do you create these governing systems to allocate resources? I think that aspect of it is fascinating.” David admits that while he spends most of his time playing Gran Turismo for research purposes for the film adaptation, he also spends time at home playing Cyberpunk 2077 on the PS5. “I know it came out and people had problems with it, but that game is so goddamn creative and detailed. ”

The beloved actor tried to adjust to Dark Souls and The Witcher 3, but he had not the same experience with World of Warcraft or Cyberpunk 2077. “I can’t get very far and I’m not very good at it, so I wind up getting frustrated throwing the controller and jumping ship,” he says. Although the majority of the Stranger Things cast members with whom he spoke about Dark Souls games enjoyed the series, David got weary of dying to a boss every time. Finally, he praises professional Starcraft players, likening them to Mozart and adding that he has never seen anything like sort of hand-eye coordination.

In addition to the Gran Turismo movie, David Harbour will star in Marvel Studio’s Thunderbolts as Red Guardian, which will premiere in 2024. Jodie Comer, on the other hand, will play the lead role in The End We Start From, an upcoming British survival film staring Benedict Cumberbatch, Mark Strong, and Katherine Waterson.
