Red Hook Studios announces a DLC heading to the Darkest Dungeon 2 called The Binding Blade heading to Steam and EGS this December.
Darkest Dungeon 2 Gets The Binding Blade DLC This December
Darkest Dungeon 2 will be gaining two new playable heroes in the newly announced The Binding Blade DLC coming this December. The new heroes are The Duelist and The Crusader.
As you’d expect from new classes, both Heroes come with new Trinkets, signature items and are fully voice-acted. They have backstories as well as playable flashback encounters. There will also be a new roaming mini-Boss called The Warlord.
The Duelist will be both combat-ready and well-disciplined in both Defensive and Aggressive stances. She has a great ability to ignore enemy defences and can strike back with Riposte. Commanding her team means she can get rid of cooldown times and even provide offensive/defensive buffs. She’s also flexible between moving between both front and back ranks.
The Crusader on the other hand is a returning Hero for the first DD. A battled hardened knight that is fueled by radiant Holy fire. Positioned as a front-rank hero he can take a hit, and can support his team by both healing and recovering their stress levels. The power of his righteous blade will definitely leave its mark in battle.
No exact date for the new DLC, but it will be heading to both Steam and the Epic Game Store on PC this December.
