10 Dying Night

This handgun is a great start to this list. Dying Night is a variant of the Militech M-10AF power-pistol. It is easily acquirable near the beginning of V’s story. The handgun is equally good in the early game as it can be during the mid and end game if you keep it upgraded with the Edgerunner Artisan perk.

As said, you can get this gun after the prologue by visiting Robert Wilson’s shop and then purchasing it for free. His shop is in the same building as V’s first apartment in Megabuilding H10 in Watson.

9 Jinchu-Maru

The Iconic Katana, Jinchu-Maru, From Cyberpunk 2077

Jinchu-Maru is one of the best Katanas in the game. It has two mod slots and has the ability to make the last hit in a melee combo do double damage and will always deal double damage to enemies with more health than your own.

It will also give you 100% while Kerenzinov is active, which is a cyberware mod that slows time while dodging or sliding. This iconic sword can be found on Sandayu Oda’s body after he is killed during the “Play It Safe” mission.

8 Divided We Stand

7 Fenrir

The Iconic SMG, Fenrir, From Cyberpunk 2077

Fenrir is a solid SMG that can be upgraded in late-game to be even better. It is an Iconic variant of the Militech M221 Saratoga SMG. It also has the ability to deal thermal damage with an increased chance to apply Burn to enemies as well as an increased chance to dismember targets.

Fenrir also has three mod slots and has reduced bullet spread and increased bullet penetration, at the cost of higher recoil. The SMG can be found during the Sacrum Profanum/Losing My Religion side job and is looted from a table next to the captured monk.

The pistol has a modifier that increases its damage by 50% and has a 25% chance to apply Burn to targets. Rounds also explode on impact with enemies or objects.

The downside of this handgun is its range reduction, reload speed reduction, and magazine capacity is only one round. The crafting spec can only be found during a Suspected Organized Crime Activity in Arroyo, found on Darius Miles’ body.

3 Scalpel

The Iconic Katana, The Scalpel, From Cyberpunk 2077

This katana is one of the most interesting melee weapons in Cyberpunk. The Scalpel is an Iconic katana that does electrical damage with a 10% chance to apply the Shock status effect. This weapon also gets a bonus when the Sandevistan cyberware mod is equipped on your character.

Scalpel gets an increased 50% critical chance as well as melee hits apply Bleeding when the Sandevistan is active. You can find this sword by completing the Big in Japan side job as a reward from Dennis.

2 Moron Labe

1 Yinglong

The Iconic SMG, Yinglong, From Cyberpunk 2077

Yinglong is by far the best weapon in all of Cyberpunk 2077. It is an Iconic variant of the G-58 Dian SMG. This variant has the advantage of dealing electrical damage as well as a chance to cause EMG explosions on impact. This is amazing because almost all enemies will have some kind of cyberware and the EMP ability will short them out and cause them to be inactive.

It is also extremely useful against robots, drones, turrets, and security cameras. Yinglong can only be found as a crafting spec during the Suspected Organized Crime Activity: Living The Big Life, and is dropped by Denzel Cryer.
