Crash Team Rumble is a team-based, multiplayer strategy game that has players collecting wumpa fruit to fill a meter in a period of time. They must fill the meter as fast as they can to come out victorious. Players will attack each other along the way while deploying their strategies on different maps, each having its own environmental gimmicks. However, collecting the most wumpa fruit is not the only way out, as players can close the gap between the opposite team by capturing Gem Pads to earn bonus wumpa and activating relic stations to gain new abilities.

The ultimate goal is to collect wumpa fruit, but the gameplay involves exploring, breaking crates, and attacking the opposite team while depositing collected fruits into the bank. If players get hit by another player, they will lose wumpa fruit. Relic stations revealed thus far include different buffs and abilities to gain an advantage.

For instance, an Uka Uka station turns the map into a dark world while giving players a ball of protection. The beach ball, on the other hand, allows players to inflict heavy damage with a giant beach ball. Featuring a handful of playable characters, Crash Team Rumble offers multiple distinct maps, including a tropical island and a giant canyon.

Pre-orders for Crash Team Rumble will be open on March 21st. The standard edition includes a copy of the game and a premium battle pass for the first season. There is also a $39.99 deluxe edition, which comes with a battle pass for the first two seasons and a digital proto pack that features items and skins.
