Crackhead Barney claims Alec Baldwin “maimed her” during recent coffee shop incident

Performance artist Crackhead Barney has claimed that Alec Baldwin ‘maimed’ her after she attempted to ambush the star this week.

On Monday (April 22), the performer went viral for sharing a video in which she accosted Baldwin in a Manhattan coffee shop.

Barney repeatedly yelled and swore at Baldwin, demanding him to repeat the words “Free Palestine’. She continued to ambush Baldwin until the 30 Rock star eventually grew frustrated and slapped the phone from her hand.

Now, in a new interview with Piers Morgan on his YouTube show Piers Morgan Uncensored, the performer has claimed that she was physically assaulted by Baldwin.

“I’ve been waiting for you, Piers fucking Morgan!” she told the former CNN host.

Barney appeared on the show wearing a neck brace, with one arm in a sling and the other using a crutch. She also revealed to Morgan that she was wearing a nappy just for him.

“What did I do to Alec Baldwin? Piers, do you see the damage that Alec did to me? Do you see the damage? Look at my arms! Look at my arms, Piers! Look at my neck! I was maimed by a white man on Monday!” she said.

When Morgan asserted that she was not maimed, Barney responded by calling him “another white devil”.

“This is the third white man to beat me this week,” Barney said, alleging that her “white boyfriend” also physically assaulted her.

Morgan eventually cut off the interview, telling his audience that the interaction was “one of the most pathetic things I’ve had to endure”.

Since 2020, Crackhead Barney, who has close to 100,000 followers on social media, has become known for ambushing notable figures in public while wearing bizarre costumes.

While filming Baldwin in the Manhattan coffee shop, Barney also asked the actor: “Why did you kill that lady? You killed that lady and got no jail time,’ referring to the fatal Rust set shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, for which Baldwin is set to face a criminal trial for involuntary manslaughter.

You put innocent people in jail, Alec Baldwin,” she added, before a member of staff attempted to remove her from the shop.

While filming Rust, Baldwin discharged the live round from a gun he was using as a prop, fatally shooting Hutchins. The movie’s armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was recently sentenced to 18 months in prison as a result. Baldwin’s trial is set to take place in July this year.

Back in December, Baldwin clashed with a protester at a demonstration in New York which was opposing Israel’s military action in Gaza.

At the time, a protester asked him: “You work for Hollywood. Do you condemn Israel?”

Baldwin responded: “You’ve already got your mind made up… because I’m in Hollywood? Well, you ask stupid questions. Ask me a smart question.” He was then reportedly insulted by protesters, with some telling him to “Shut [his] fucking mouth”.
