Once their vows are exchanged, all seems to be going well as they continue with the celebrations.

Although when Paul becomes overcome with emotion during his speech and storms out dragging his foot, could Gemma face heartbreak on the day of her dreams?

Speaking to Express.co.uk and other media, actress Dolly-Rose shared some insight into what viewers can expect to happen at the big Coronation Street wedding.

Touching on her out-there dress, the soap star said: “I was just blown away by the dress. It’s an absolute work of art.

“The detail that’s gone into it is just beyond anything I ever imagined.”

Dolly revealed the garment, which was specially made for her, was created by famous drag designer Liquorice Black.

Confessing she had big ideas for Gemma’s dress, Dolly-Rose commented: “He works with Drag Race, he’s been exhibited in quite a few galleries, so to get him to do it, I was overjoyed.”

As one of Gemma’s quadruplets Aled (Joseph Woods) is deaf, there is an interpreter at the wedding and Dolly-Rose revealed there’s a secret conversation in sign language during the scene that viewers may miss.

She said: “I don’t know if it will be caught, but in the wedding, Cherylee Houston (Izzy Armstrong) can sign as well.

“So she was signing with the interpreter in the background.

“When I looked over, she was telling the interpreter that she had been dyeing the dress in her bath and it dyed her bath orange.

“That was their conversation but I don’t know if the whole conversation will be seen or if any, you’d have to know sign to be able to catch it.”

Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV from 8pm.
