The next joint of developer Supercell, best known for Clash of Clans, is releasing soon. Squad Busters, the first global game launch of the studio in over five years, will launch on May 29 for iOS and Android devices.
At the time of publication, Squad Busters has already soft-launched in some select countries. If you reside in Canada, Mexico, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, or Singapore, the game is already available to download.
Squad Busters introduces itself as a 10-person multiplayer where you build squads over the course of 4-minute matches. The objective? Grabbing more gems than the opposing players. While you only start with a single unit, the progression of each match will have you upgrading characters and taking on enemies around the map to grow stronger.
Supercell is leaning heavily on collaborations with other games from its suite, including Brawl Stars and Clash Royale. As per usual, the learning curve is designed to be approachable for everybody before the more enthusiast players arrive. If you want to get in early before folks start taking the game too seriously, you’ll only have to wait a few weeks.
