Developer Jump Over The Age has released the first gameplay trailer for Citizen Sleeper 2 during the PC Gaming Show 2024. Not only that, but we also know roughly when we can expect to be able to play the game, both of which are enough to give you the drive to hop back into the original and try for another ending to refresh your memory of this universe ahead of time.

Citizen Sleeper 2 will be released in early 2025 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. So don’t worry. There’s no need to clear your schedule just yet. It’ll be a lovely little bonus game you can play when winter rears its head again, right when you think spring has arrived. The new trailer shows that, unlike the previous game, you’re going to be exploring multiple systems across an asteroid belt and picking up a crew who will help you on your journey as you push forward to avoid those hunting you down.

Explore a complex collection of locations within an asteroid belt while living on the run in Sleeper Citizen 2

In Citizen Sleeper 2, you play as a Sleeper. These are artificial bodies that house human minds, and they’re pretty useful in a workforce. The trouble is, not all Sleepers want to be workers forever. Unlike the previous game, this time around, you’re on the run from a criminal gang who wants to capture you.
