Caretaker’s Journal locations guide – Marvel’s Midnight Suns

The Caretaker in Marvel’s Midnight Suns has a supporting role throughout the campaign. She’s there to give the Hunter advice as she does battle with Lilith’s minions, though she also has her own motivations based on what transpired in the past. You’ll learn more about her background by obtaining various notes as you progress. Marvel’s Midnight Suns all Caretaker’s Journal locations guide (Black Grimoire recipe book)

Before we discuss all 12 Caretaker’s Journal locations in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, it bears mentioning that these notes, much like other collectibles, will not be available from the get-go. Ideally, you’ll want to progress further in the campaign. At the same time, you should do side objectives in the Abbey Grounds, which has its own narrative arc. By the time you unlock all Words of Power, you should be able to access most areas in the Abbey Grounds. In any case, you can refer to the two maps below for the Caretaker’s Journal pages in Marvel’s Midnight Suns:

Abbey pages

• Library (1x) – Found on a desk in the far-left corner of the room.
• War Room (2x) – Two of the desks here have a document.
• Chapel (1x) – Check the bookshelf at the right-hand side of the Chapel cloister.
• Caretaker’s Room (3x) – Found on the mantle, large desk, and bedside table.

Abbey Grounds pages

• Agatha’s Cottage (4x) – You can only go to this area after obtaining the Reveal Word of Power:
  • There’s a note on the wooden table in the yard.
  • Another can be found at the left side of the small hut.
  • Two documents are inside the house next to other books.
• Lilith’s Garden (1x) – Accessible only after acquiring the Purify Word of Power. The page is on a stone bench next to Agatha’s ghost when you first meet her.

The Black Grimoire

Once you have all 12 Caretaker’s Journal pages in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, you’ll receive the Black Grimoire. It unlocks a couple of functions for Agatha’s Cauldron:

• Exchange 2x Wundagore Everbloom and 100x Gloss for 50x Credits.
• Exchange 2x Wundagore Everbloom and 25x Credits for 100x Gloss.
