Whenever the Blood Moon comes to pass in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, it can be annoying having all monsters respawn. It seems to happened every few in-game days now, and can be disruptive if you’re not a fan of it. Some fans are speculating whether or not you can skip the Blood Moon in Tears of the Kingdom. This could be done in Breath of the Wild, so can it be done in the sequel as well? We have an answer for you.

Tears of the Kingdom: Is the Blood Moon skippable?

With every Blood Moon comes the return of once-dead enemies. It can happened quite often, which can be a bother to some players. Luckily, the answer is yes, you can skip a Blood Moon in Tears of the Kingdom. Similar to how you could do it in Breath of the Wild, there are certain steps you need to take to skip one.

First of all, make sure you’re at a Shrine before midnight. Don’t walk inside just yet. As soon as you notice the clock on the bottom of your HUD turn to 11:55 AM, run into the Shrine. If you do this, and wait in the Shrine until at least five minutes after midnight, the Blood Moon won’t happen! This is the same method from Breath of the Wild, and it’s surprising to see this little trick come back.

But there’s one thing to note about this method. Although it will skip the Blood Moon effects, the next time you sleep, the cutscene will commence. This basically holds off on the Blood Moon until you rest again.

Now, if you’re wondering whether the Blood Moon cutscene itself is skippable, yes it is. Just press any button during the cutscene, and then press the ‘+’ button. Otherwise, Blood Moons aren’t too disruptive, but at least there’s a way to skip them if you so please.
