Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 On PS5 Is Already On Sale For Black Friday

Despite having released only a few weeks ago, this year’s new Call of Duty game, Modern Warfare III, is already seeing its first discount. As part of Amazon’s Black Friday sale, the standard PS5 edition of MW3 has seen its price slashed by $10, dropping it from $70 to $60.

The deal is available right now with free two-day shipping for Prime members, so if you order soon, you can get it as early as Black Friday itself. This is for a physical copy of the game on PS5 and could sell out–new Call of Duty games always end up as the year’s top sellers, so you may want to act fast if you’re interested.

This marks the first time MW3 has been discounted since launch, and as of this writing, the deal is only available on the PS5 edition. The game is also available on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC; it’s not yet a part of the Xbox Game Pass library despite Microsoft’s recent acquisition of publisher Activision Blizzard.

MW3 was released earlier in November to an unusually chilly reception, as its campaign was criticized for the new open-ended design of some levels, while the core multiplayer launched only with remastered versions of maps from an earlier CoD game. That said, new maps and other content are on the way as part of Season 1, and our multiplayer and Zombies review did praise both modes for still being fun.
