What Happened previously On Bungo Stray Dogs?
Ranpo met Kunikida in his cell and promised to get him out as he was wrongly accused. Soon after their meeting, he bumped into Poe and asked for his help to free Kunikida. Poe informed him about the murder of the author, after which the latter decided to solve the case. Ranpo pointed out that Poe wanted to buy the manuscript of the murdered author, after which he revealed that he wanted it to solve the murder case.
Poe was looking for a red envelope, and soon after finding it, they witnessed someone falling from the observatory tower. Poe realized that the body was of the same specialist they were hunting. However, after thoroughly investigating the body, Ranpo learned that the body was of a different person, and the murderer killed the man to fake his own death. After Rampo couldn’t figure out anything about the body and the case, he returned to the agency.
The scene then cut to Mushihiro, who was evading the crime scene, but he ran into Rampo, who asked him where he could get a taxi. Murihiro tried to dismiss him by telling him the directions, as his taxi was coming at the same spot, but Rampo was reluctant to go, and in the meantime, Mushihiro’s taxi arrived. Finally, the two ended up in the same car, and Rampo shared his thoughts on the case, which surprised Mushihiro.
