Blue Lock episode 19

Barou was shattered at the moment for not being able to score, and he remembered his childhood days when he used to get praised by his teammates. He then developed the habit of not understanding other players on the field and focused on developing his own soccer. And the reason he loved football was to see people crushed who dedicated their lives to the game.

In the present, Barou took charge of the ball and tried to score; however, the ball hit the pole. The ball was with Kunigami now, who passed it on to Reo. But due to Isagi marking Reo, the latter kicked the ball, and Barou chased it to score at least one goal, but Chigiri was there to mark him. Isagi was ahead of Barou and ordered him to pass the ball, and Barou passed it unintentionally, helping Isagi score the fourth goal for Team White

Isagi called Barou a donkey, and the latter realized that he was not the king of the field after all. Chigiri, Kunigami, and Reo decided to mark Isagi at all costs, and they planned to use Chigiri’s speed to score the last goal. On the other hand, Isagi and Nagi made plans to stop Chigiri from using his speed weapon. Nagi asked if they should include Barou in the plan, but Isagi stated that it was futile to say anything to the dethroned king.

The game started, and the ball was with Reo. He passed it to Chigiri, but Nagi charged to take the ball before it reached him, which surprised everyone. The loose ball landed in front of Barou, who was about to pass the ball again. But a strange feeling held him back from doing so, after which Barou awakened, and he dribbled the ball through everyone and scored the final goal for Team White. Isagi approached Baoru for a hi-five, but the latter asked the former to take his words back when he called him a donkey. Isagi did so, and Nagi joined them for a celebration.

Anri and Jinpachi were watching the match, and the former praised Barou for awakening in the game. However, Jinpachi stated that it was Barou’s own talent all along and stated the importance of defeat in soccer, and the same defeat helped Barou to grow in the game. At the end of the episode, it was time for Team White to choose one player from Team Red.
