The previous chapter starts by revealing how Lucious is the greatest devil host in their family, as he is born with two souls in one body. Lucious and Julius can talk to one another despite sharing a single body, and Lucious says that he has seen the future and true peace for the world. When Julius tries to stop him, Lucious degrades Julius and says that he tries to stop him despite being the closest one to him.
In the present time, Lucious appears, and Asta understands at first glance that the person is not Julius. Lucius uses his magic to stop the time for everyone except for the two of them. Asta is surprised by his massive power, and Lucius reveals that he has become even stronger as he has absorbed Lucifero.
Asta asks about his true identity, and Lucius introduces himself and also reveals that Julius is dead. He then explains his ultimate plan, revealing that he and his siblings will destroy humanity and then recreate it. He further explains that the people they create will be equal in every aspect. Lucius claims himself as the final Wizard King and addresses Asta as a flaw as he is born without magic.
Asta says that the Wizard King he knows won’t die that easily. Lucius comments that he is stronger than Wizard King, to which Asta replies that in that case, he will surpass the Wizard King right here and now.
