Best weapons in Lethal Company, ranked

While there are plenty of helpful items in Lethal Company, some are sort of useless. Instead, I’ve created a ranked list of the best weapons you can find and purchase in Lethal Company.

You can use these items to take down nearly all monsters in the Beastiary. There aren’t a ton in the game right now, but here are the best of the best.

Lethal Company: Best weapons, ranked

Some of these weapons are only useful for stunning monsters, but others will do damage to the point of killing them. Just be wise with which creatures you use them on, because some of the scariest monsters won’t be defeated by them. Otherwise, here are the best weapons in Lethal Company, ranked from worst to best.

4. Stun Grenade

Only costing you 40 credits, this is a good cheap option for stunning monsters. Throwing a Stun Grenade at an enemy will stun and immobilize them for a few moments, but not a long time. This is why it’s at the bottom of the list. It won’t do damage, and it isn’t the best stun weapon in the game.

3. Stop Sign

Stop Signs are completely free. You’ll find these items as scrap throughout the various moons. If you find one, pick it up, as you can use it as an improvised weapon. Many creatures like Snare Fleas or Bunker Spiders can get taken down by a scared crew member with a heavy Stop Sign.

2. Zap Gun

Compared to the Stun Grenade, the Zap Gun is the better choice for immobilizing targets. The only downside is that it costs a whopping 400 credits, so you won’t be able to purchase this item at the start of your playthrough. But if you do get one, just hold the trigger, and it’ll continuously shock and stun the monster you’re aiming for. This is great for tougher enemies.

1. Shovel

While the Zap Gun is incredible for stunning a creature, I find the Shovel to be the best damaging weapon in Lethal Company. You can buy one from the Computer Terminal store for only 30 credits. Although it’s not free like the Stop Sign, it’s a guaranteed weapon that you don’t have to search for.
