Original Spider-Man Trilogy
The original spider-man movie has been credited as the superhero movie that revolutionised the genre. Before this movie was made there was never before anything like it. Everything just seemed so perfect about this movie, from the time it was released, the casting, the characters, the cinematography, everything was just brilliant. When it was announced that the fan favourite comic book character was coming to the big screen fans were absolutely ecstatic. Following the very negative opinions on the movie “Batman and Robin” in 1997, a lot of people hadn’t taken superhero films seriously and weren’t expecting such a great movie. Spider-Man is all about a nerdy teenage boy named Peter Parker who gets bitten by a genetically enhanced super spider. After this, he gains superpowers allowing him super strength, the ability to shoot webs, and the ability to stick to walls. Peters takes his uncle’s advice to use his newfound powers to fight crime. He also gains a fierce rivalry with the super-villain “Green Goblin” . People love the Spiderman movies because they can relate to peter parker as a person. The action scenes in this movie are brilliant to this day, we can go back any time we want to enjoy this classic starring Tobey McGuire. Spiderman is definitely one of the best superhero movies ever made.
Avengers Infinity War
Avengers infinity war was actually released relatively recently, a lot of people love the movie despite its tragic ending. The reason people like it so much is because of how many of our favourite characters we get to see interact with each other. Each and every MCU movie we had seen had been leading up to the very moments of Avengers Infinity War. The movie is all about the supervillain Thanos attempting to collect each and every one of the infinity stones to kill half of the universe. We don’t want to spoil too much in case you haven’t actually seen the movie but things don’t end too well for the heroes. Avengers Infinity War will no doubt go down as one of the best superhero movies ever made.
The dark Knight Rises
If you’re a fan of DC then you’ll be glad this one is on the list. Heath Ledger’s performance as the “joker” alone in this movie is enough for it to deserve a place in our list of the best superheroes movies ever made. The cool thing about this movie is how it’s set in a very real universe. You genuinely believe that everything that happens in the movie could happen in real life. Batman’s powers are his detective skills, fighting skills, and most importantly money! In the dark knight movies, Bruce Wayne is a billionaire who takes to the streets at night in his multimillion-dollar suit of armour to do his best to bring justice to the crime-riddled city of Gotham. The joker, a crazy psychopath with no known alias begins to plan a series of terrorist attacks with only one goal in mind, causing chaos.
Thor – Ragnorok
Unlike other movies on this list, Thor – Ragnorok was highly praised for how hilarious it is! When it comes to comedy, this film is unquestionably one of the best superhero movies ever made. In the movie, Thor is deprived of his iconic hammer and goes on a mission across the universe to save his homeland “Asgard” from the goddess of death. Along the way the meets some crazy characters making for some scenes we will never forget. This movie does really well at standing out in comparison to a lot of the other MCU movies, fans were pleasantly surprised at the more light-hearted take that marvel took on Thor when they made this movie. As you would imagine, the movie was very highly praised by critics and fans and respected for trying something different.
