Best Marvel Snap Decks for Conquest Mode (August 2023)

0

Conquest Mode is a high stakes, tournament-style mode in Marvel Snap that rewards you with a currency called Medals. These can then be used to purchase resources in a new store, along with new cosmetics like variants and titles. Make it all the way to the end of Infinite Conquest, and you’ll even get a new avatar frame. Getting there is no cakewalk, though, so here are the best Marvel Snap decks you should consider for Conquest Mode.

Best Marvel Snap Decks to Use in Conquest Mode

Surfer

  • Nova
  • Jeff
  • Brood
  • Rogue
  • Silver Surfer
  • Storm
  • Jean Grey
  • Killmonger
  • Shadow King
  • Spider-Man
  • Wong
  • Sera

The Silver Surfer deck archetype continues to perform really solidly in the current Marvel Snap meta. You could easily swap in Daken in here for any of the 3-cost cards if you’d like, but this deck works solidly without him either way. A cheeky play you can make is to play Jean Grey on one lane to force your opponent in there, then play Brood, and continue to make plays elsewhere while your opponent continues to have to play around her.

You’ll typically want to play Sera on turn 5 if possible, followed by a powerful turn 6 with Wong and Silver Surfer buffing up all your cards twice.

Good Stuff

  • Korg
  • Luke Cage
  • Spider-Ham
  • Zabu
  • Jeff
  • Killmonger
  • Darkhawk
  • Shang-Chi
  • Enchantress
  • Rock Slide
  • Iron Lad
  • Legion

The good stuff deck has evolved quite a bit since the Stature/Black Bolt days, and while that combo is still pretty damn strong, the deck archetype itself is even more solid with the addition of Legion. The Marvel Snap meta heavily revolves around this deck right now, with solid tech cards to help you counter almost any other deck out there.

Your main power push for this deck is Darkhawk, though you can also scam opponents out of a match with location manipulation with Legion. Legion is a great tech card with a decent stat line in this deck, as he can turn off Limbo to end a match early, lock your opponents out by playing him on a Flooding location, or turning everything into Necrosha or Negative Zone if you have Luke Cage.

Tempo Move/Disruption

  • Kitty Pryde
  • Angela
  • Kraven
  • Jeff
  • Silk
  • Polaris
  • Spider-Man
  • Shang-Chi
  • Captain Marvel
  • Enchantress
  • Miles Morales
  • Gamora

The move archetype is finally seeing some love with the latest patch basically turning Spider-Man into a whole new card. The likes of Iron Fist, Multiple Man, Vulture, and gang still feel a little lackluster, but if you like the idea of moving cards around on the board to disrupt your opponent, it’s your time to shine.

Angela and Kraven are the big pointslams here, as Angela can keep scaling up as you move cards in and out of her lane, while Kraven gets even more powerful as cards move into his lane. Silk is the linchpin of the deck, as she can continuously buff up Kraven if you get lucky with her placement, not to mention the fact that she, Jeff, Spider-Man, and Captain Marvel help to mitigate a lot of location variance in the game. The fact that you can access pretty much any location in Marvel Snap with these cards removes the need for Legion.

High Evo Lockjaw

  • Wasp
  • Spider-Ham
  • Lockjaw
  • Thor
  • Dracula
  • Jubilee
  • High Evolutionary
  • Jane Foster
  • America Chavez
  • Hulk
  • Magneto
  • Infinaut

High Evolutionary was all over the ladder and Conquest when he first dropped, but now that the hype has died down a little, folks might be underrating this archetype a little. Just like the original Thor/Lockjaw archetype, the goal here is to cheat out cards early with Jubilee and Lockjaw, while summoning Mjolnir with Jane Foster, putting it back into the deck with Lockjaw to cheat out more cards, and rinse and repeat.

High Evo takes this deck to the next level with cards like Wasp and Hulk, with the former being able to debuff you before getting shuffled back into the deck, and the latter growing stronger with unspent Energy.
