Best Buy’s Weekend Sale Features Stellar Deals On Laptops, TVs, And More

Best Buy is running another big sale this weekend, giving you a chance to pick up video games, laptops, TVs, and other popular electronics for cheap. This time of year is usually light on deals–so be sure to give it a look if you want to cross off items on your wishlist without going over budget. Most of the price cuts end on Sunday, though a few end early on Saturday, so swing by and check them out while you can. Make sure to also check out our roundup of the best steelbook edition Blu-rays that Best Buy has on clearance while supplies last.

Console Gaming

Console gaming deals are a bit light this weekend, but My Best Buy Plus and Total Members can save $50 when purchasing an Xbox Series X. You’ll also find a few hit games on sale (including Bayonetta 3 and Dead Space). Diablo 4 might be the best video game on sale, as it’s listed for $45 (down from $70) and its third season is about to start on January 23. That makes it the perfect time to dive in, as all players will be rolling new characters (so you won’t feel overwhelmed by players well above your level). You’ll find a few other console gaming deals below.

PC Gaming

It’s equipped with an old RTX 2050, but the HP Victus 15.6-Inch Gaming Laptop is a solid choice for shoppers on a budget. It’ll never run modern games at high settings, but it’ll run just fine for less demanding titles and is reliable enough for all your basic computing needs. Toss in a 512GB SSD, 8GB RAM, and a fast Ryzen 5 7000 processor, and young professionals and students alike will find much to love about this frugal rig–especially since it’s on sale for just $480. The ASUS ROG Ally 7-Inch Gaming Handheld is also seeing a $200 price cut, while you can pick up the premium LG UltraGear 27-Inch Nano IPS Monitor for $300 (down from $400).

TVs

Whether you’re prepping for a Super Bowl party or just want to upgrade your home theater, it’s hard to go wrong with the ultra-luxurious Samsung 77-Inch Class S89C OLED 4K Smart Tizen TV. Its gigantic screen supports 4K resolutions, is Pantone-validated for accurate colors, and supports Dolby Atmos and HDR. Right now, you’ll find it listed with a staggering $1,600 price cut–so if you’ve been saving up for a new TV, give it a closer look. For an affordable alternative, consider the Samsung 75-Inch Class TU690T Crystal UHD 4K Tizen TV, which is now $580 (down from $750).

Headphones

A bunch of Bose headphones are on sale this weekend, including the always-popular QuietComfort 45. Down to just $229 (usually $330), they offer impressive noise cancellation, great audio quality, and a minimalist, all-black design. They come with a compact carrying case, making them perfect for travel. You can also check out the Beats Solo 3 for $130 (down from $200) or the Sennheiser Momentum 3 Earbuds for $200 (down from $280).

Toys and Collectibles

Over 100 collectibles are on sale at Best Buy, including a large lineup of Club Mocchi Mocchi plushies. Some of the best deals include the Super Mario Goomba Mega Plush for $18 and the Kirby Mega Plush for $25. Star Wars fans will want to look at the Obi-Wan Force FX Elite Lightsaber which is seeing a 50% price cut, while Pokemon fans can check out a sleek Charizard statue for $38 (down from $55).

Other Deals

Nothing above catch your eye? Then here’s a look at a variety of items on sale that don’t fit nicely into any other categories. One of the most exciting deals is for the Segway G30Max Electric Kick Scooter, which gets up to 40 miles of range before needing a recharge–and if you’re living and working in the city, it’s the perfect way to cut down on your commute. Right now you’ll find it for $710 (down from $1,000). The Aventon Level.2 Commuter eBike is more expensive at $1,700, but it hits speeds close to 30mph and gets up to 60 miles of range.
