The game centres around a bear called Hank. Hank decides it’s time to do something with his life and it’s down to you, playing as the titular bear, to build a bed and breakfast in the woods.

The game combines a range of different elements to get you to this point. You’ll hunt for materials, build and decorate the bed and breakfast’s rooms, satisfy guests and more.

The management-cum-adventure title, which was heavily inspired by games including Theme Hospital, sees you following a linear story to progress, all while scoring points for your work in your bed and breakfast. However, as you score more points, the challenge grows.

During the Day of the Devs livestream, developer Gummy Cat hinted that running parallel to the game’s main story is a mysterious sub-plot that takes place deep in the forest.

New gameplay wasn’t the only thing we got during the livestream. After what seems like an eternity, Bear and Breakfast now has a release date and fans don’t have too long to wait.

The title will be releasing on Nintendo Switch and Steam on July 28. Fans who are eagerly awaiting the title can wishlist it on Steam or pre-order it on the Nintendo Switch eShop.
