Attack On Titan Anime And Manga Box Sets Get Huge Discounts For Black Friday

It’s the end of an era for Attack on Titan fans now that the anime has concluded, but for anyone looking for the complete experience, Black Friday is here to help you out. Equal parts exhilarating with its gravity defying battles and heartbreaking when it tackles serious themes, Attack on Titan Blu-ray collections are worth picking up if you’re an anime fan.

Set in a world where humanity has constructed a city of impenetrable walls to protect itself from almost-unkillable man-eating giants, Attack on Titan follows Eren Yeager alongside his friends Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert. Things look good for the inhabitants, but after the Colossal Titan breaches their walls and more Titans come flooding in, things take a very bad turn for Eren.

After he witnesses his mom being murdered by a Titan, he swears to have his revenge and enlists in the Survey Corps so that he can develop the skills he needs to fight back. On that promising setup, Attack on Titan heads into very unexpected directions as Eren’s journey reveals the truth of his world and dark secrets that threaten to destroy the world.

Animated by Wit Studio for its first three seasons, Attack on Titan has been a critically acclaimed series since it first began airing in 2013. The anime adaptation also had massive gaps between each season, as the second season didn’t begin until 2017. The third season aired in 2018 and 2019, while the fourth and “final” season of 35 episodes unfolded in multiple parts over three years. Fortunately, you won’t have to sit through lengthy waiting periods to watch the show, although you’ll need to brace yourself for it.

If you’d like to check out the source material as well, the original manga volumes are also on sale. You’ll have to use your imagination to get the elegantly illustrated images to become animated, but these books make for riveting reading.
