Medicinal Moss is an ingredient in Atelier Ryza 3 that will be required to create medicinal and clothing base items, including Flour, Medica Powder, Alchemy Fibers, Cloth, and more.
This ingredient is often not found in large groups, making it hard to gather it in sizeable quantities. Instead, you’ll need to visit a handful of different regions and islands to pick up the essential ingredient.
Field East Of Hidden Cove Temple
This location where you can find Medicinal Moss is technically in the Big Lighthouse Landmark area, but you’ll be able to reach it more easily from the Hidden Cove Temple Landmark in the Hidden Cove region. Start from here, and then head directly west. Once you take the path on the left and arrive in the large field north of the Big Lighthouse, you’ll find a ton of Medicinal Moss here in the form of large rocks. Check the whole area before you proceed towards the shore.
Big Lighthouse Shore
Medicinal Moss can not only be found in rocks, but also in barrels on the beach. Arrive at the Big Lighthouse Landmark located within the Kark Isles region, and make your way to the shoreline on the east. All along here, right before the water, there will be a few barrels with Medicinal Moss inside. Make sure to check the whole shoreline before moving on, including the sandy path leading north back towards the field just outside Hidden Cove Temple.
Erupting Hill
Located inside the Kark Isles region is Erupting Hill, a Landmark with an active volcano and enemies everywhere. You’ll find the Landmark directly in the middle of the Kark Isles, between Blue Life Spring and the Big Lighthouse. When you arrive, you’ll be able to find some Medicinal Moss in a few barrels outside a small building. There will also be a couple Medicinal Moss rocks around this location as well.
Blue Life Spring
The Blue Life Spring Landmark can be found in the western section of the Kark Isles region. From the Landmark, you’ll want to head northeast towards a small waterfall, and you’ll find a few barrels near a bridge with Medicinal Moss inside. We recommend checking the whole island as well, since there will most likely be a lot more barrels hidden around with Medicinal Moss for you to collect.
Land Of Three Swords
The last area in the Kark Isles region that will have a bit of Medicinal Moss is the Land of Three Swords. When you arrive at the Landmark, you’ll want to make your way northwest towards the pirate ship where you received rewards from the Mystery Illuminated by the Lighthouse side quest. In the waters just outside the ship, you’ll come into contact with a few barrels containing Medicinal Moss. The remaining barrels will also provide you with some Beast Meat, too.
