As if to show us all just how amazing the latest iPhone models will truly be, Apple has revealed that on top of the announced Resident Evil 4 Remake and Resident Evil 7: Village mobile ports exclusive to the iPhone 15 models, they will also be running a port of the not-even-yet-released RPG Assassin’s Creed Mirage. AC Mirage is set to be a full triple-A experience for the latest console generation, so to see it coming to our pockets only a few months after it launches later this year for said consoles is nothing short of amazing to hear.

If you aren’t familiar, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the latest entry in the long-running open-world historical RPGs, this time taking place back in the Middle Eastern medieval times much like the original games that started it all. It’s intended to be something of a return to form from those older titles as fans had their complaints with the new direction the series took recently, so old fans ought to love it once it does finally release.

And with this news, the game has only become even more accessible to those of us who cannot afford all the latest and greatest consoles or an absurdly powerful PC with the ability to play it on our cellular devices. Granted, these iPhone 15s aren’t going to be cheap of course, but many people often upgrade to the latest and greatest phone models, which should mean that just about everyone will be able to play this new Assassin’s Creed game.

All-in-all, it’s some very exciting news to see a triple-A game being officially ported to our pockets without any caveats. Perhaps this announcement will see other developers following a similar pattern and we’ll all be playing the official, real version of Call of Duty on our phones in a matter of months!
