Ahead of a new Apex Legends Collection Event next week, Respawn Entertainment has deployed a brand new bug fix patch on November 30th. The update, which is now live across all supported platforms, doesn’t add any new content for players to jump into but does make some important bug fixes and adjustments.
Despite today’s update only including bug fixes, there is plenty to look forward to in the world of Apex Legends. With Season 15: Eclipse now in full swing, players are eager to jump into the next big Collection Event, which was revealed by Respawn earlier today. The Wintertide Collection Event, which will see the return of the fan-favorite winter express, kicks off on December 6th. Alongside the returning winter express, the developers have also stated that players will be able to “collect cosmetics to unlock Wraith’s new Prestige skin”.
But if you’re only interested in the changes made in today’s patch update, you can check out the official patch details below.
Apex Legends Update 2.12 Patch Notes For November 30
Although we’re still waiting for Respawn Entertainment to release the official patch notes for today’s Apex Legends update, we do have a good idea of what exactly is included. According to the official Apex Legends Trello Board, the following fixes are currently ready to be deployed, likely in today’s patch:
- Banner incorrectly displaying players in “Rookie” Rank when they are not.
- Players are certain ranks not receiving the correct ranked rewards for certain seasons.
YouTuber ThordanSmash also believes that today’s patch likely fixes the heirloom glitch that has been present for quite some time now. Respawn has attempted to squash the glitch with previous updates, but the issue has continued to persist in-game. The YouTuber also noted that the recently released gifting system isn’t working as intended, but a Community Manager for EA has stated that a fix is coming in the future.
The game’s official Trello Board does also note that the following issues are currently being investigated, but aren’t currently marked as ready to be released:
- Players not receiving coins after purchase.
- Game freezing for PC users.
So far, that’s all the details we have on the November 30th Apex Legends update. Once Respawn Entertainment deploys the official patch notes for the 2.12 update, we will be sure to update this article, so make sure to check back in shortly for further details.
