PlayStation Plus subscribers would be elated to know that one of the most critically acclaimed games for PS1 is coming to PlayStation Plus Premium as per a new leak.
After Xbox’s success with Cloud Gaming, it was quite obvious that Sony would come up with an apt response to offer to its users. The answer came in the form of a revamped PlayStation Plus, which not only added new tiers, but also marked the debut of a plethora of new features such as cloud streaming, backward compatibility, and much more. The revamped PlayStation Plus is yet to come into action, but we have already started receiving several leaks about what games Sony will be offering in the new tiers.

The leak comes from the Games Rating website of Korea which rated two of the most popular games, Syphon Filter and Syphon Filter 2. The first game was released back in the 90s and it has managed to get the praise from both fans and critics alike. While there were some issues when it came to the graphics of the game which hampered its overall reception, it’s the gameplay that made it stand out to become such a solid game. Back in the day, the games managed to set a benchmark for enemy AI in games, offering ample randomness which contributed to a much better replay value.
This is one of the many PlayStation 1 games that has been leaked in the past few days. We have witnessed Tekken 2, Ridge Racers and Mr. Driller being some of the other games that will likely be a part of the PlayStation Premium library. It will be interesting to see what else Sony has in store for fans out there.
