Animal Well Figurines guide

Typical of the Metroidvania genre is the endless and incredibly well-hidden collectables. In Animal Well, there are tools, eggs, and figurines to find, with the latter only being available through certain types of playthroughs.

All Animal Well Figurines

These collectables do not come easy, and if you want to grab them all, you’re going to have to master the game. Some of the figurines in Animal Well can only be found through speedruns, while others will require you to complete the game with certain limitations. Here is how to get them all.

Speedrun figurines

All of these can be found by completing the game under a certain time. You must reach the clock at the end of the game for these first three to count. For the other three, you need to reach the secret ending within the time limit.

• 1st Figurine – Complete Animal Well within 5 hours.
• 2nd Figurine – Reach the end in 90 minutes.
• 3rd Figurine – Complete Animal Well in 30 minutes or less.
• 4th Figurine – Reach the Secret Ending in 7 hours.
• 5th Figurine – Reach the Secret ending in 4 hours.
• 6th Figurine – Reach the Secret Ending in 90 minutes.

Other challenges

These hidden achievements will require you to complete Animal Well while fulfilling certain expectations. They can be very challenging, but thankfully, the game has provided ways of keeping track of progress. For the steps challenge, the first time you enter the Tamagotchi, you will receive a pedometer that tracks your steps in the game.

• Souvenir Cup—This can be achieved by completing a deathless run. If you die, I suggest just starting again. This one is for the true masochists out there.
• Peacock Figurine – Reach the Tamagochi in the house within a certain amount of steps.
• Otter Figurine – Reach the Tamagochi within a certain amount of steps.
• Duck Figurine – Play Pachelbel’s canon on the Animal Well flute. The chords are 1, 5, 6, 3, 4, 1, 4, 5.
• Origami Figurine—This can be obtained by making an origami bunny. When playing on a PC, the PC you interact with in the game will send a print job to your plugged-in printer. This will give you a secret message to play on your flute, resulting in this Animal Well secret figurine.
• Mama Cha – Interact with the grass growing out of the dog bowl.
