Britain’s Got Talent presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly never fail to amuse ITV viewers, but one swipe aimed at Amanda Holden left fans calling them “naughty”.

During Friday’s Britain’s Got Talent, the cast of The Wizard of Oz performed a lively routine from the show.

As Ant and Dec, both 47, introduced the performance, the pair aimed a cheeky dig at judge Amanda.

While “trapped” in a Wizard of Oz-style world, the Geordie duo tried to work out what was going on.

Fans were amused and stunned when the pair spotted the iconic Wicked Witch but Dec mistook her for Amanda, 52, without make-up.

“Where are we?” Ant asked Dec as the screen transformed into the classic movie’s famous black-and-white opening.

“I don’t know, but I’ve got a feeling we’re not in Hammersmith anymore,” Dec remarked.

As the Wicked Witch strolled past, Ant exclaimed: “Look… is that the Wicked Witch?”

In a brutal swipe, Dec replied: “Nah, it’s just Amanda on her way to make-up, isn’t it?”

Fans quickly took to social media following the jibe as they expressed their shock.

Friday’s show saw the announcement of the all-important eight finalists who will compete to win the series on Sunday’s show.

Elsewhere, some fans labelled the ITV staple “a fix” as the semi-final drew to a close.

Fans were divided by dance group Unity, who many said were “robbed” of a place in the top three.

The group had been Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer act, but didn’t manage to secure a place in Sunday’s show.

As the instalment concluded, it was magician Cillian O’Connor and dancer Lillianna who made it through to the final.

Cillian made it through by the public vote, while Lillianna was chosen by all four judges.

Britain’s Got Talent continues on Sunday at 7.30pm on ITV.
