What games can we expect?

For the aforementioned list, I’m looking forward to three specific developers. Starting with EA. As much as Battlefield 5 has regained popularity, I’m very excited to see where to next installment goes and how it changes the meta. However, even with the misstep of Battlefield 2042, I’m still holding on to hope. Plus we could get more stuff on Dragon Age Dreadwolf

Another exciting tidbit is Hoyoverse. I’m not a huge fan of Gacha games, but Zenless Zone Zero has won my heart due to its ultra-stylized gameplay. I hope we see a little more from the game as it’s expected to launch in July.

The last thing I’m looking forward to is Funcom and Dune Awakening. You can call me a Dune head and the more I hear about this survival game, the more I get stoked for it. So I am hoping we get more since Funcom has been dropping morsels of information.

The show is great already however, the absence of developers like Square Enix might sting a little. While they’ve been facing some negative press over the sales of the latest Final Fantasy installments and Foam Stars, it would be nice to see if they were working on something beyond that. This way we could see they’re still pushing on.

When is Summer Game Fest 24?

The event will stream live on YouTube on June 7th at 2 PM PT/ 5 PM ET.
