For old-school fans who have been hoping for a modern way of playing classic Sonic games, the arrival of Sonic Origins can’t have come at a better time. Giving players the opportunity to relive the classic adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic CD with this remaster is great, and just like the old days, cheats codes are part of the deal as well. If you searching for all of the cheat codes in Sonic Origins, this is what you’ll need to know.
Cheat Codes in Sonic Origins
There are going to be different cheat codes for the various games, with the exception of Sonic CD. As a rule, you must first activate the Level Select cheat code on the title screen, before heading into the sound test section to use the other codes. Successful input will cause a sound to be played, and you are on your way.
Sonic the Hedgehog Cheat Codes
- Level Select – Up, Down, Left, Right, followed by Square for PlayStation, X on Xbox, Y on Switch
- Debug Mode – 01, 09, 09, 01, 00, 06, 02, 03
- All Chaos Emeralds – 04, 01, 02, 06
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Cheat Codes
- Level Select – Up, Up, Up, Down, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, followed by Square for PlayStation, X on Xbox, Y on Switch
- Debug Mode – 01, 09, 09, 02, 01, 01, 02, 04
- All Chaos Emeralds – 04, 01, 02, 06
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles Cheat Codes
- Level Select – Up, Up, Down, Down, Up, Up, Up, Up, press any button, then select the hidden Sound Test option under Competition
- Debug Mode – 01, 09, 09, 04, 01, 00, 01, 08
- All Chaos Emeralds – 04, 01, 02, 06 (For Hyper form, enter the code twice}
