All Fortnite weapon mod bench locations

Fortnite weapon mod benches give you a slight advantage in the multiplayer game by letting you, well, mod your weapon. They’re not easy to find, though, and gaining access to weapon mod benches is even more challenging. If you don’t mind not being the first one on the scene, though, you can wait and let someone else do all the heavy lifting for you – with the caveat that they’ll probably take the loot you need to fund your mods, too.

We’ve listed all the Fortnite weapon mod bench locations below, with pointers for where to find the vault and how to apply mods as well.

Fortnite‘s weapon mod benches are in fixed locations, underground in vaults near where you’ll find this chapter’s boss characters. The catch is that you have to actually defeat the boss and take their medallion before you can access the mod bench. As far as we can tell, each boss only spawns once per round. If you miss out on defeating them, you can track down the player who did and get the medallion from them or wait until someone else opens the vault.

Unlike weapon cases, the mod benches aren’t one-and-done affairs, so you’re not missing out if you don’t get here quickly. Each weapon mod bench is underground and unmarked, but the medallions point you in the right direction once you have them.

This weapon mod bench is under the villa on the coast where you fight Peter Griffin. Enter the mansion, turn right, and take the stairs to the vault.

Nisha is your opponent in Fencing Fields. Once you defeat her, follow the medallion trail through the bar and into the wine cellars to find this area’s vault and mod bench.

Oscar is the Lair’s boss. He hangs out near the glass enclosure outside the main building, and his vault is under the staircase outside.

Valeria, the Reckless Railways boss, spends their time in the courtyard near the fountain. The brick staircase nearby takes you down to the vault.

The Grand Glacier boss wanders the grounds inside the gates, so you may encounter them anywhere inside. Once you defeat them, face the grand stairway, and turn left. Enter the door next to the cases marked with haz-mat symbols, and follow the path to the vault.

After the trouble of finding a bench, using it is pretty straightforward. Interact with it the same as you would with any other object. Select your weapon, and then select the mod you want.

Installing mods costs gold bars, so make sure you’ve got some handy before getting started. Most vaults have chests you can loot with gold in them, and some of the points of interest have cash registers or other interactable objects that reward you with gold bars.
