While the mode is less punishing than its hardcore counterpart, players are still on the grind — often to complete various faction missions or even secure their insured weapon slots. Regardless of what your goal for DMZ might be, you may have come across a mission that tasks you with locating a Dumpster Dead Drop, which can be difficult to find.
Dumpster Dead Drops reside in designated locations in DMZ, and their primary purpose is to convert deposited cash into the time taken off of your insured weapon slot cooldown. However, you may need to deposit particular items in certain Dead Drops as part of a Faction Mission. In this guide, you will find each and every Dead Drop location within Warzone 2’s DMZ.
Sawanah Hotel Alley, North Of Al Mazrah City Post Office
The first major Dumpster Dead Drop can be found in the alleyway of Sawanah Hotel in Al Mazrah City, directly north of the Post Office — The exact coordinates being F3 on your tac map. For players who are grinding Faction Missions, you will need to visit this Dead Drop to complete the tier 3 Legion Mission: Dead Drop.
Mawizeh Marsh Gas Station
The next Dumpster Dead Drop is located at Mawizeh Marsh Gas Station, which is fairly easy to find as it is marked on your tac map. But if you are having a bit of trouble, then head to F4 on your map. This Dead Drop location is a popular spot, as players will need to visit it to complete the tier 4 Legion Mission: Mechanic. If you are heading to this area, be on the lookout for other players whilst also clearing out the swarm of AI patrolling the gas station.
Al Sharim Pass Junkyard
Now, it’s time to head over to Al Sharim Pass, where you will find a Dumpster Dead Drop in the junkyard section of this location. It can be found at G6 on your tac map next to a yellow building. This location tends to draw little attention, but we recommend staying alert, especially since a Buy Station is located nearby.
Al Samman Cemetery
Al Samman Cemetery harbors a Dumpster Dead Drop, northeast of the cemetery grounds. The precise location of this Dead Drop is coordinate E7 on your tac map. Be on your guard here, as this is a common spawn location for the Demolition Plant spots as part of the Demolition contract. This means that you can expect to encounter players and swarms of AI here.
Another Dumpster Dead Drop can be found at D6 on your tac map, more specifically at the Sa’id Shopping Centre. This particular dumpster does not exactly stand out, as it is located next to another ordinary looking green one. However, you can find it just above the crossway between the shopping center and a parking lot.
Train Depot Between Al Safwa Quarry & Rohan Oil
The final Dumpster Dead Drop is located within the train depot (C3) between Al Safwa Quarry and Rohan Oil. Players who are grinding Faction Missions may be searching for this particular dumpster, as it is tied to the tier 4 Legion Mission: Pyromaniac.
